Golden Chicken Nian Gao

Nian Gao (年糕) is translated to ‘year high’, which symbolizes a higher income, a higher position, the growth of children, and generally the promise of a better year. Treat your family and friends to a CNY festive treat with this handmade exquisite golden chicken Nian Gao! Pretty Instagrammable I’d say!

Salmon Yu Sheng ($38+ Small) ($68+ Large)

Yu Sheng add on: Crispy Salmon Skin ($12+)

Every Chinese New Year celebration cannot do without a Lou Hei (prosperity toss) of a raw fish salad. With the addition of the crispy salmon skin, it gave the Yu Sheng a more crunchy texture and enhanced flavour which we thought was a ideal other than just having it with raw fish.

Fried Rice with Chinese Saussage in Lotus Leaf ($38+)

Another Chinese New Year selection that cannot be missed is this fried rice with chinese saussage in lotus leaf. Aromatic and flavourful Dim Sum dish only Yum Cha does it best as you unwrap the lotus leaf.

Braised Oysters and “Fatt Choy” (Black Moss) ($38+)

Have a prosperous Chinese New Year with this braised oysters and “Fatt Choy” (rich). The black moss is commonly found in Chinese cuisine especially during the Chinese New Year period which symbolizes prosperity.

Fried Crispy Chicken ($40+)

Have a crispy fried chicken treat during the year of the rooster! Preferable to have it with the lotus leaf fried rice or white rice as it can get a tad salty on its own.
